The world isn’t ending, it’s just beginning.

 

The year is 2047. Three friends have escaped the War of the West and are surviving off the land within the shadow of the Rocky Mountains. Two are ex-soldiers, alongside one who led production lines in the factories. They thought they could wait out the war, but war finds them first.

 

When armed units of the New World Alliance invade their homeland, they are forced once more to take part in battle. Soon after the skirmish, however, they discover a biological weapon.

 

But she, like each of them, is more than just a military tool.

 

In this estranged future, can these three friends make peace with their past lives and the world around them? From the mysterious cybernetic girl to the foundations of hope laid out by the Dartwing Rebellion, will the three outlast the war, or submit to a future that they had never asked for?
